Soprano Stephanie Jabre most recently was a soloist both with the Key Chorale in their production of Misatango as well as with Musica Sacra as the Soprano soloist for Bach Cantata 140.
Recent roles include Iris in St. Petersburg Opera's "Semele," Mary Hatch Bailey in the Larry Keeton Dinner Theatre performance of "It's a Wonderful Life" , and both Lauretta and Suor Genovieffa in the St. Petersburg Opera double bill production of "Gianni Schicchi" and "Suor Angelica". Stephanie also made her debuts both with New York City Opera and the Metropolitan Opera Guild where she performed in both the ensemble and sang Lauretta in the Met Guild's concert performance of "Gianni Schicchi" at Lincoln Center.
Other Past Roles include: Gianetta (L’elisir d’amore), Giuditta (La Giuditta), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Amore (Orfeo ed Euridice), Dido (Dido and Aeneas), Mabel (Pirates of Penzance), Mrs. Segstrom (A Little Night Music), Ida (Die Fledermaus), La Zia (Madama Butterfly), Marian Paroo (The Music Man), Ethel Levey (George M!), Cinderella (Into the Woods), Hope Cladwell (Urinetown), and Babette (Beauty and the Beast).
In concert, Stephanie has performed solos in the Messiah, Bach St. John’s Passion, Handel’s Samson, and Vivaldi’s Gloria, among others. She has made solo guest appearances with the Hamilton-Fairfield Symphony Orchestra performing both concert and operatic works of Mozart.
She was a Regional Finalist in The 2019 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions New York Eastern Region and a 2020 Semi-Finalist in the Lotte Lenya Voice Competition.
Stephanie earned her graduate degree in Vocal Performance from the Manhattan School of Music and her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Dayton where she received both an honors scholarship and performance and education grant.
